Documentation for the Orbit slider needs to be clearer.

The documentation will shortly be updated to make it clear that to set up the slider the user need to set the text/html editor in 'raw' mode.

Hello spook_man,

I have just checked on firefox v13.0.1 and the orbit slider works as it should.

Have you followed the documentation on how to use the orbit slider found here?

especially the part:

"IMPORTANT : Edit the contents of the Text/Html and change the edit mode to 'Basic Text box' and the render mode to 'html'"

I have found that if you just go from the wysiwyg editor and click 'html' under the editor, the edito will remove the following code needed for the slider to work:

<ul class="example-orbit" data-orbit> the "data-orbit" gets removed.

Yes, I followed the documentation, but found that, that's what is happening.

Sadly though, with Evoq DNNPE v7.3.1, switching to HTML mode, making the changes and saving, DNN still automatically removes this data-orbit information from the line.

Switching from HTML to Editor and back to HTML does the same thing.

Missed the part concerning the Basic Text box. Sorry about that.. It's working now.

Thank you for your assistance.. Trying out the skin to see how it works for us, etc.

Hi spook_man,

We all make these mistakes ;-)

What I'll do is to make the documentation a little clearer for people to use.

Shortly you see a better, clearer Orbit slider doc.
